StarLeaf, a global provider of innovative meeting room solutions and video conferencing services, has been named a “Visionary” in Gartner’s annual Magic Quadrant for Meeting Solutions. This marks the second year in a row that StarLeaf has landed in the vaunted “Visionary” category, which honors companies that “understand where the market is going or have a vision for changing market rules.”

And where, exactly, is the market going? According to Gartner, by 2024, only 25% of meetings will take place in person, while 74% of companies will permanently shift to remote work as a result of their experiences during COVID-19. In short, the world might “return to normal,” but work will be changed for the foreseeable future. And more than ever, we will need companies like StarLeaf to innovate solutions for the altered landscape.

“As the world adopts new ways of working, we believe the ability to schedule, host and join secure video meetings must become truly frictionless, said Mark Richer, CEO of StarLeaf. “StarLeaf will continue to develop distinctive video conferencing and collaboration solutions that make it easier for people to work happily and productively. We believe our positioning in the Magic Quadrant for Meeting Solutions recognizes our mission to offer businesses an easier, more intuitive way to connect and collaborate.”

In this year of remarkable change and unprecedented upheaval, StarLeaf has continued to refine and expand its offerings.

“Our achievements this year have carried our mission forward,” Richer said. “We added certification for HIPAA compliance alongside our ISO/IEC 27001 accreditation, launched a free StarLeaf service to help businesses maintain continuity, and introduced StarLeaf MultiJoin, so people can easily join meetings on different video conferencing software platforms via their StarLeaf rooms.”

As of last month, StarLeaf conferencing software is supported with Poly’s Studio series and G7500 video conferencing systems, which gives StarLeaf and Poly customers even more options for deployment.

“As leaders in their field, the range of Poly endpoints was the obvious choice for StarLeaf when looking for a third-party to extend our meeting room offering," said StarLeaf CPO Kevin Bernitz. "We look forward to strengthening our partnership and continuing to offer our customers the optimum meeting experience.”
